Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is published in line with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Strengthscope is committed to operating with integrity and respect for human rights. We recognize the importance of addressing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business. This statement outlines our approach to preventing modern slavery and ensuring that our operations and supply chains are free from such practices.

As an equal opportunities employer, we’re committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We want all our staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves.
Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.

We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

Our Business and Supply Chains
Strengthscope is a global provider of strength-based assessment tools and development programmes. Due to the nature of the business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. Our supply chains are limited and we procure goods and services from a small range of UK and overseas suppliers.

Our Commitment
We are dedicated to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains. Our commitment is reflected in our policies and practices, which are designed to uphold the highest ethical standards and respect for human rights. The following policies are available to all employees through the Strengthscope intranet:
• Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy
• Disciplinary Procedure
• Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Policy
• Whistleblowing Policy

Policies and Practices

  1. Ethical Sourcing: We require all suppliers and partners to adhere to ethical standards, which include zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. We assess and consider the risk of these practices within our supply chains and take appropriate actions to mitigate any identified risks.
  2. Employee Awareness: All Strengthscope employees are required to review and familiarise themselves with our Modern Slavery Statement. This ensures that our team is able to recognise and report any concerns related to these issues.
  3. Supplier Due Diligence: We review and assess our suppliers to ensure compliance with ethical standards. This includes requesting confirmation that our suppliers are not engaged in any form of modern slavery or human trafficking.
  4. Reporting Mechanisms: We have established clear reporting mechanisms for employees and stakeholders to raise concerns about potential modern slavery or human trafficking. Reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly.
  5. Continuous Improvement: We are committed to continuously improving our practices and policies related to modern slavery. We review and update our approach regularly to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with best practices.
